General Notice and Mandatory Information

Responsible Parties

This website is operated by two legally separate entities. Which entity is responsible for your data depends on which of the two companies you enter into a contract with:

For companies that wish to contract with a company based in Germany:
Global Leadership School (sole proprietorship, owner: Gerald Hüsch)
Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 36
14776 Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany
E-mail: leadership@gerald-huesch.com
VAT ID: DE260762580

For companies within and outside the EEA that wish to access the offerings of the GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONSULTANCY L.L.C — in particular hybrid collaboration and diagnostics (HNBT – How NASA Builds Teams, stress diagnostics, Human Design, etc.):
GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONSULTANCY L.L.C
Al Masraf Bank Building, Floor No. 1
Al Quoz Industrial Area 1, Sheikh Zayed Road 2
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
E-mail: leadership@gerald-huesch.com
License No. (Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai): 630055
Tax Registration Number (TRN): 104107463200003

Global Leadership School (Germany) is the responsible party for clients and participants who deliberately wish to work with a contractual partner based in Germany and conclude their contract with the Global Leadership School.

GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONSULTANCY L.L.C (Dubai) is the responsible party for national and international business. This includes companies within and outside the EEA, insofar as they accept offerings of the GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONSULTANCY L.L.C that the Global Leadership School does not provide — in particular hybrid collaboration and diagnostics (HNBT – How NASA Builds Teams, stress diagnostics, Human Design, etc.). Insofar as the GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONSULTANCY L.L.C processes personal data of individuals in the EEA, this is done in compliance with the GDPR as well as the applicable regulations in the UAE (UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 — PDPL).

The decisive factor for responsibility is which of the two companies the respective contract is concluded with. If there is any doubt as to which entity is responsible, you can contact us at any time using the contact details provided above; we will then inform you of the responsible party.

The responsible party solely or jointly determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, contact details, etc.).

Design of Our Programs (FernUSG)

We deliberately design our programs so that they do not qualify as distance learning within the meaning of the German Distance Learning Protection Act (Fernunterrichtsschutzgesetz, FernUSG), in particular through:

1. predominantly synchronous, interactive live formats in which trainer and participants are present at the same time;
2. a substantial proportion of shared presence or real-time guidance;
3. the absence of any individual, examination-style monitoring of learning success within the meaning of the Act.

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke any previously given consent at any time. An informal email notification is sufficient for the revocation. The legality of data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Complain to the Competent Supervisory Authority

As a data subject, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of a data protection law violation. The competent supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and the Right to Access Information of Brandenburg (LDA Brandenburg), Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow, Germany.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to third parties. The data will be provided in a machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done if technically feasible.

Right to Information, Correction, Blocking, Deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, the origin of the data, its recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions about personal data using the contact options listed in the legal notice.

Transfer to Third Countries (UAE)

In the course of the cooperation between the Global Leadership School (Germany) and the GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONSULTANCY L.L.C (Dubai), personal data may be transferred to the United Arab Emirates. There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for the UAE.

The Global Leadership School (Germany) processes personal data in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR. The GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONSULTANCY L.L.C undertakes to maintain a level of protection equivalent to the GDPR when processing personal data of individuals from the European Economic Area and to safeguard data subject rights under the GDPR.

Depending on the type of inquiry, the legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR for inquiries you make yourself as part of a pre-contractual measure, or Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR if your inquiry is of another nature. If personal data is requested that we do not need for fulfilling a contract or safeguarding legitimate interests, transmission to us occurs based on consent you provide according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Data transmitted via the contact form remains with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or there is no longer any need for data storage. Mandatory statutory provisions — especially retention periods — remain unaffected.
